The VII International Conference on Wind and Marine Energy (WWWE 2026) is framed as an initiative that emerged under the project PID2024-155653OB-C21. In a few years, this event has established itself as a reference annual platform for presenting, discussing, and disseminating the most relevant developments in the field of marine renewable energies, with a special focus on wind and ocean energy. As in previous editions, this call aims to reinforce these objectives, generating a scientific environment that combines cutting-edge research, the training of young researchers, industry relations, and exchange spaces that strengthen our community.
In this context, the VII International Conference on Wind and Marine Energy offers a unique opportunity to bring together experts, academics, and industry professionals to share advances and identify common challenges.
Advanced control and computational intelligence, along with new energy conversion and management technologies, are revealed as essential tools to address global challenges such as climate change and the resilience of critical infrastructures. With the contributions from this edition, we seek not only to drive the state of the art but also to create new synergies that put the generated knowledge at the service of society.
Finally, we express our sincere gratitude to the authors for the quality of their work, as well as to the Scientific Committee and reviewers for their rigorous evaluation work, ensuring the technical level of this congress. We hope that these proceedings will serve as a lasting reference for the research community and that this meeting in Burgos will be fruitful for all.
