Old people are living sources of our most recent history, they have experienced important historical events firsthand, they have been raised in a very different way from today, they have gone though situations that may seem incredible, they know traditions that little by little are disappearing….

This book collects the experiences of a group of old people, men and women with or without studies, from different social classes, from rural or urban áreas and with a story to tell.

The stories have been written by students from the University of Burgos, who have wanted to dignify the ederly by valuing the experiences of some of them.

This book is a tribute to all those people who have preceded us and whom we must never forget. They all have a story worth telling.
