Félix: de la cetrería a la ciencia

This book presents a novel study on the beginnings of the scientific activity developed in the field of ornithology by the extraordinary Spanish popularizer Dr. Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, to whom the University of Burgos awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa In Memoriam in 2013. in Natural Sciences. Included in a facsimile edition are the first five scientific documents generated by Félix, as well as the speech that his wife, Marcelle Geneviéve Parmentier Lepied, gave at his aforementioned investiture. The work is prefaced by Félix's daughter, Odile Rodriguez de la Fuente Parmentier. The book is published as an Institutional Commemorative Work of the University of Burgos in tribute to the 95th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente.
