´Intelligent Systems Applied to Psychology´ aims to introduce psychology students to emerging concepts in computing, data analysis, and the use of neuropsychological tools in the diagnosis and treatment of issues specific to the field of psychology. The book also seeks to raise awareness among professionals about the importance of expanding their training in these areas, which are increasingly essential in 21st-century society. This manual may also be of interest to professionals in related fields, such as biomedical or health engineering, as an interdisciplinary approach is key to the effective implementation of technological tools and to the extraction and interpretation of the vast amount of data they produce. Specifically, it explores the use of integrated multichannel technologies through interconnected devices that capture signals such as eye tracking, galvanic skin response, and electroencephalography (EEG). Moreover, the book introduces machine learning techniques for processing and analyzing the collected data. It features a foreword by Dr. Rebeca Cerezo Menéndez, from the University of Oviedo, an internationally recognized expert in the field. The chapters have been authored by faculty members from the University of Burgos—researchers affiliated with the ADMIRABLE and DATAHES groups, as well as the Recognized Research Units No. 170 and No. 348 of the Regional Government of Castile and León—whose work in these areas is internationally acclaimed.
